The FiberTrix-8 is a desktop PON MDU (multi-dwelling unit) that terminates one dual-mode XPON drop — GPON or EPON — and delivers eight Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ on every port, for offices, desk clusters and small sites.
One SC/UPC port runs GPON (Class B+, ITU-T G.984) or EPON (PX20+, IEEE 802.3ah) in dual mode — the same box serves GPON and EPON networks, 20 km reach.
All eight Gigabit ports supply IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W, fed by the included 54 V DC adapter (≤130 W) — cameras, APs and phones power straight off the fiber drop.
DDoS protection, ACL / MAC / URL filtering and unauthorized-ONU detection guard the access edge.
OMCI management from the OLT, plus Web, Telnet and CLI locally; automatic detection, configuration and firmware upgrade.
Dying-gasp, port loop detection and Ethernet port loss alarms surface problems before users call.
IGMP v1/v2 with snooping, up to 8 multicast VLANs and 64 groups — IPTV at the desk without flooding the drop.
One PON drop per floor or riser: the FiberTrix-24 serves 24 powered Gigabit ports to units, offices and building systems from a single 1U box.
Fiber to the office and the desk — eight PoE+ ports at the workspace for IP phones, PCs and wireless APs, on GPON or EPON alike.
Every port supplies PoE+ up to 30 W, so cameras and APs power straight off the fiber drop — no local power supplies to install or maintain.

Yes: its XPON port runs GPON or EPON in dual mode (ITU-T G.984 / IEEE 802.3ah), Class B+ / PX20+, over a single SC/UPC fiber with a 20 km reach.
Any IEEE 802.3af/at device — IP cameras, wireless APs, IP phones — up to 30 W per port on all eight ports. The unit is fed by the included 54 V DC / 2.4 A adapter, with a power supply rating of up to 130 W.
It is standards-based and OMCI-managed for mainstream GPON and EPON OLTs, including UGrid's U5 and U8 GPON OLTs and the U10 combo OLT in GPON mode.
